The Exhibition Stand
The brief for this project was to design a two story exhibition stand for the annual Dublin design show in the RDS. I choose the Italian furniture company, ‘Kartell’ as I was inspired by the playful shapes and materiality of the furniture. I researched into Kartell's shop displays, magazine features and previous adverts.
Concept sketches of form
The concept of elliptical shapes that are divided, yet continuous of one another can be seen clearly in the plan. The focus of this project was on attracting the public and the circulation around the stand to display as much product as possible and for the public to interact with the furniture.
